Each unique ceramic tile is meticulously oil-painted, then clear-coated using a high performance UV resin that features distinctive SPLAT formations. The flies, which were cleverly integrated into the design, were originally hidden within the installation titled "When You're Older You'll Understand" showcased as part of the exhibition Still Motion at the Barrick Museum of Art, 2022.
